Kfar Shanti in the Negev

Thanks! the form has been sent successfully. We will get back to you right away

In 2001 she initiatedMaryomathe establishment of a project

Beit Shanti in the desert - a therapeutic village established according to the model of Beit Shanti in Tel Aviv.

And its goal is to provide an answer to the problem of the youth in the south and to expand the treatment tools of Beit Shanti - continuing to fulfill the vision by expanding the treatment

in life-threatening youth

In the State of Israel and the Negev settlement.

The village offers the youth an extraordinary opportunity for rehabilitation and growth.

The nature of the desert allows for the development and use of innovative treatment methods, among them: a therapeutic horse farm, agricultural therapy.

Involvement in social projects within the village and no less important,

A connection to the developing southern community and a contribution back to the community.

The shanti house in the desert, designed by Marioma, is spectacular in its beauty,

It is colorful and combines Mexican and Moroccan designs,

giving the youth a warm, aesthetic welcome,

Respectful and a peaceful and pleasant job.

In the construction of the village, great emphasis was placed on green construction,

use of environmentally friendly materials,

Water circulation and the possibility of using solar electricity.

And as a stained glass creator and artist, I was happy to be involved in the wonderful work, to add more to the warm, welcoming and caressing spirit of the village.

And the Negev and the southern wind have weight in building the character of the village.

Location - Bird Junction, Highway 40, 5 km south of Sde Boker.

Credits: Marioma - entrepreneur, thinker and the living spirit of the village.

Her spirit lines every corner, both in planning and execution.
