Burnt glass with sandblasting

Thank you! your message has been sent

We use this technique on transparent glass, etching the glass’ surface

using high-pressure aluminum oxide.

The result - opaque glass preventing visibility and limiting light penetration.

This leads to its application - When you want things concealed, but still want the light to come in. Different parts of the glass can be etched and the remaining transparency emphasizes the etching.

In addition, the glass can be etched on both sides at different levels of etching, all in order to emphasize and enhance the creative and artistic aspect.

The thicker the glass, the deeper we can go to achieve a 3D effect.

In tempered glass, we can etch to a minimal dept of 2 mm.

Tempered glass is intended for public structures, doors, shower stalls, railings,

partitions and anywhere at risk of glass breakage.

Insulating glass - Both panes can be etched, preferably the inner part,

to obtain a 3D effect, both near and far at the same time.

Additional color - Do not overdo it, just slight touches of color. Combined with the transparency and etching,

the result is amazing.

Mirror etching - Usually on the corners and perimeter to add a decorative element.

Etching the front of the mirror - The reflection adds a special duplicate dimension.

Etching the back of the mirror without duplication.

Etching the back of the mirror and the etched parts become regular etched glass.

Etching with acid is more delicate, used mainly on glass dishes and small surfaces.

When seeking especially thick glass for protection or design -

glass sculpting uses special adhesives - completely transparent.

For example, 20 cm glass comprised of layers and sculpted on all sides.

Glass filing - Using special equipment combined with water. The result is smooth and glossy sculpted glass.
