As one of my clients told me: I’m charmed as I wake up with a big smile, seeing the colorful rays while I’m half asleep as they caress the blanket.
The second rule is to determine the nature of the piece together with the architect: calm and serene 
or full of life. Modern or classic.
The next thing you have to think about is the color play: rich or solid. 
Even without color, transparent glass of different textures can be amazing, like a piece of jewelry.
And you always have to consider that the vitrage steals the show, big time. 
It will be the centerpiece to which people look before anything else.
